SPONSORING CHILDREN
Children’s educational sponsorship is one of our main programs for the less fortunate students and based on government statistic, it says that we have a big number of students in need. We sponsor children from Primary School to university level (including a One-Year Vocational Training on Hospitality that we called Tourism and Home Assistant Program / THAP)
If you would like to sponsor a child through our foundation, please contact us by sending the Sponsorship Form about the possibility. After having your detail on Sponsorship Form and the Sponsorship Payment Receipt, we will send you the detail of potential student/s your will sponsor with his/her/their photos. Within 10 years of service, we have been applying a flat scholarship fee for all students from all level of schools. Whether for kindergarten, primary schools, secondary or high schools the price was AUD$140, but due to the raise of all prices over the years and the different need of every student, we kindly inform that from now on the scholarship policy will be graded based on the school level, namely :
- Kindergarten and primary school level (pre-school and year 1 – year 6) cost AUD$150.
- Secondary school level (year 7 – year 9) costs AUD$170
- High School level (year 10 – year 12) costs AUD$200
- University / Diploma cost will be based on the budget policy of each institution.
Please note that 100% of the donated dollars for children's sponsorship goes to the education of the children. No money is used for administration of this program! Where possible, we ask that sponsors try to commit to sponsoring their child through their school years. Depending on the age of your sponsored child, this may be several years.
For the expenses spent on the entire program on Tourism and Home Assistant Program (THAP), we apply a Tuition Subsidy System that will be a beneficial effort to keep the course going continuously in a long term. Through collaborative efforts we will succeed by increasing individual and institutional effectiveness; and by earning the respect and trust of those who govern us, support us, and do business with us. The collaboration will involve “Three Parties” between the foundation, sponsors and the students. The foundation and sponsors will prepare the expenses needed in advance and students will contribute their portion by contributing small amount of money every month after they work to achieve a sufficient salary. The cost being prepared by the foundation for the students is a non interest loan. The foundation also prepares the transit house free of charge for the students who are joining job training in Denpasar, Kuta, Nusa Dua, etc.
The budget for similar course managed by other institutions around the area varies from IDR 10 – 25 million per package/person. Our foundation budgets IDR 10 million on total associated cost for the entire program of THAP. The partial percentage of sponsorship fee for a sponsor is allocated to be IDR 3,5 million (about AUD$350) per one student for a One Year Package of THAP. Options for sponsors include full scholarship, partial scholarship, or any other donation they might choose, it will ensure the THAP runs smoothly.

Without sponsors we would never be able to continue nor maintain all of the programs and help for the community that is so desperately needed!
SPONSOR VISIT
We welcome to sponsor/s who wish to visit their sponsored student/s and their families. We will escort sponsor/s to see the student/s and families in the village and if sponsor/s also wish to visit the school where the sponsored student/s studies, we should make an arrangement. For visiting people in the village, we should strictly consider the socio-cultural diversities, village people’s perception against “bule” people, personal and group sentiment, jealousy among fellow villagers and the issue of “paedophilias” that potentially stimulates inconvenience atmosphere.
In order to protect the sponsor/s and Peduli Sesama Philanthropic Work, we have set down the following policies:
1. A sponsor is not permitted to contact their sponsor child or their family directly. The communication can be done by e-mail/s through the foundation and the translation will be prepared before being proceeded.
2. Any / all visits to a sponsor child and / or their family must be supervised by an Indonesian citizen nominated by Peduli Sesama Philanthropic Work.
3. Peduli Sesama Philanthropic Work do not hold any public liability, sickness or accident insurance, therefore Peduli Sesama Philanthropic Work will not / does not accept any responsibility if you have an accident or suffer illness whilst in Bali.
If you are visiting Bali and wish to meet your sponsor child/ ren and their family, please send your application in a Sponsor Visit Form via e-mail at least 3 week prior to your visit.

For your transportation to reach us, we recommend a driver to transport you when doing a visit. He ticks all the boxes and offer very reasonable rates. We are trying our best to come up with cost-effective and simple ways for people to continue their sponsorships and make other contributions through some options of payment :
1. PayPal Payment.
We kindly inform that we have just set a new PayPal payment system for our foundation in which we have done it two times previously with some obstacles. It has been a long process of effort to make a better way of payment into our foundation, and we are about trying to use the new PayPal.

3. On The Spot Direct Payment
This is an option more and more sponsors are using when and if they visit the foundation or their sponsored child. If you would like to make a cash donation or sponsorship payment at the foundation, it will be receipted on the spot or receipted through a scan and email format.
4. Kangaroo Service

We kindly inform that Kangaroo Services no longer offer a Westpac Bank account to transfer money into our foundation’s bank account.
As it is being informed that Westpac Banking Corporation (WBC) has exercised its right to unilaterally close our WBC Bank account.
It is said, Kangaroo Service will no longer have any accounts in WBC on and after the 31/3/2015 and it seems that you can no longer deposit fund to our WBCaccount for transfer to Indonesia. On and after the 31/3/2014, any transfers you make to our WBCaccount will be rejected by the bank as the account no longer active.
